The preparation for the 'IZH-Jupiter' output started during the second half of 1958. This model was shown at the World's fair in Brussels in 1957. The period of 1971-1975 was devoted to the road motorcycles 'IZH-Planeta-3', 'IZH-Jupiter-3', 'IZH-Jupiter-3K', and 'IZH-Planeta-Sport' manufacturing. The manufacturing of 'IZH-Jupiter-5' with the engine started in 1985, its power decreased from 28 hp to 24 hp. The new button 'Standby' appeared in this model. 'IZH-Planeta-5', outputted in 1987, got the renewed engine with the power 22 hp and new appearance of fuel tank, facing and instrument panel. Soon, 'IZH-Jupiter' changed in the same way. Also, in this period on the basis of Japan engine YAMAHA XT-550 were designed and manufactured the prototypes of the modern motorcycles 'Orion', 'Marathon', 'Sprinter'. According to all available data they were very modern models up to day.
